MLMM: The Nightmare

I couldn’t see Dad’s face, there were so many balloons. They were sucking off his face in pack dominance order, white balloons being last. I must have fainted from the horror of it, because the next thing I knew, there was just a pile of empty clothes where the chair was.

Was that a dream? I fell asleep in turmoil.

When I awoke the next day, they told me Dad had died during the night. The circumstances surrounding his death were a mystery. Nobody ever discussed it with me, and I never saw his body.
