Someone Else’s Island
Daily Prompt:  We’ve all been asked what five objects we’d take with us to a desert island. Now it’s your best friend’s (or close relative’s) turn to be stranded: what five objects would you send him/her off with?

I will preface my answer with a couple of assumptions:  My friend is half-way intelligent and has her own survival gear and knowledge;  and the island my friend is on has a temperate climate with plenty of food and potable water and nothing dangerous.  Here are the extra things I’d send off with her:

1.  Solar panel
2.  Battery attached to solar panel
3.  A couple of healthy pot plants with seeds
4.  An ebook reader with the equivalent of the Library of Congress
5.  A couple of dogs (one male, one female)
